Things I learned this week in Huntsville:
- The day after Thanksgiving, men may be thinking about football, but most women are thinking about shopping. Black Friday is considered to be the biggest shopping day of the year. Check out this website for ads and coupons.
- Here's the 2009 Black Friday Weekend Offers at Bridge Street Town Centre.
- Happy Thanksgiving! In keeping with the season, here are some free crosswords, trivia games, word search puzzles, memory games, jigsaw puzzles, children's puzzles and more with a Thanksgiving Day theme from About's Puzzles' guide. Read more...

Alabama has had a perfect season...but will
Auburn be their downfall? Certainly, the Auburn Tigers are motivated to give it their best shot. In Alabama, the two competing state football teams have always held a rivalry...sometimes dividing families. In fact, when a baby is born into a family, he is raised up rooting for one team or the other. When an "outsider" moves to Alabama, they may not realize the fierce competition, but they soon realize they have to pick sides. I was raised an Alabama fan, even though I know next to nothing about football. Who will you be cheering on the day after Thanksgiving when the Iron Bowl takes place?
