Explore Alabama State Parks

Saturday November 6, 2004
A crisp fall day is the perfect time to enjoy nature, see the turning leaves and explore some of Alabama's State Parks. I've been to a few myself. You might enjoy Cathedral Caverns State Park near Grant, Desoto State Park near Fort Payne, Cheaha State Park just south of Anniston, or Buck's Pocket State Park near Lake Guntersville. Other enjoyable places include High Falls in DeKalb County and, of course, the Madison Co. Nature Trail on Green Mountain.
