Happy Holidays from About Huntsville! May your holidays be blessed with kindness, love, hope, harmony & peace. In the meantime, here are some "finds" and things I learned about Huntsville this week. (1) Alabama's largest hand-made candy manufacturers retail store is Priester's Pecan Company in Fort Deposit, Alabama (south of Montgomery). They have such goodies as key-lime pecans & peach pecans.

(2) According to the American Lung Association, non-smokers married to smokers have about a 20 to 30 percent greater chance of contracting lung cancer than other non smokers.

(3) If you care about someone, then you are doing them a favor by letting them know they have a breath problem. If you can't just come out and tell them, then at least let them know anonymously with a Floss-o-gram .

(4) Become a Pillar of the Community by making a $1,000 or more donation to the Bicentennial Water Park Fund...
