Art Museum Celebrates Huntsville's 200th Birthday

In honor of Huntsville's 200th birthday, the Huntsville Museum of Art showcases a display of selected artworks from the Museum's permanent collection through January 16, 2006. After the Civil War, Huntsville became a center for cotton textile mills such as Dallas, Lincoln and Merrimack. This silver print shows some of the youngest workers in the Merrimack Mills in Huntsville in 1913.
