If you're retired, a stay-at-home mom or visiting Huntsville, here's some of the activities you can experience throughout the week: 2005 Scarecrow Trail at the Huntsville Botanical Garden, Cornfield Maze in Brownsboro, Tate Farms Pumpkin Patch, Burritt on the Mountain tour of historic cabins, Huntsville Museum of Art, Sci-Quest, U.S. Space & Rocket Center and Weeden House Museum. Tuesday, Broadway Theatre League is presenting the Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats. Thursday is a free Chatham Baroque Concert at First Presbyterian Church and a "Laugh Your Way to Wellness" lecture at Carlton Cove.

Friday features include: the start of the Alabama Red Hat Unconvention, Spooktacular Science Halloween Party at Sci-Quest, Fantasy Playhouse Children's Theater presents "Doctor Osborn’s Magical New Fangled Medicine Show" and Theatre Huntsville presents "The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery."
