2007 SMDC Photos

The 2007 Space & Missile Defense Conference celebrated 50 years of Space and Missile Defense. Highlights of the conference included speeches by General Kevin T. Campbell, SMDC/ARSTRAT, Ambassador Robert Joseph, former Astronaut Lt. General Thomas Stafford and many other scientists and military personnel. I felt like a "duck out of water," but was pleased that these men and women knew what they were doing and talking about and had the nation covered in defense. The public is invited to attend this spectacular conference each year and this year, 7th & 8th grade students were invited to attend and get a little taste of technology. Here's some of the highlights and displays of the 2007 SMDC.
