Huntsville's Weekend Weather...by James Payton

On the weather map...Moisture will be once again begin to feed into Alabama over the weekend. This will mean typical summertime weather yet again with warm weather & a chance of a few scattered thunderstorms. However, overall coverage of storms should be a bit less this weekend than last.

Now here's my official Tennessee Valley weekend forecast...

For Friday...Partly cloudy. 1 in 5 chance of afternoon thunderstorms. High 91.
Friday Night...Fair. Chance of a shower in the evening. Low 68.
Saturday...Partly cloudy. 1 in 4 chance of afternoon storms. High 90.
Saturday Night...Fair. Low 67.
Sunday...Partly cloudy. 1 in 5 chance of afternoon storms. High 93.

Last week's weather trivia question...What is the coolest temperature ever recorded in Huntsville in the month of July? The answer was A. 49 degrees. This chilly low occured on the morning of July 22, 1944.

This week's weather trivia question...Which quadrant of a hurricane is the most dangerous?

A. Northwest
