Looking for an interesting trip for a day or a weekend getaway? The 444-mile Natchez Trace Parkway crosses three southern states: Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee. It's a wonderful day trip from Huntsville where visitors can experience driving, hiking, biking, horseback riding, and camping in a scenic setting. Milepost marker 385.9 is one of the more famous stops on the route. It is where Meriwether Lewis (of the Lewis and Clark Expedition) died. Here's some photos.
