Comments: The food is very fresh and spicy, but not too much. Copeland's is a New Orleans type restaurant, good service and depending upon crowds you can be in and out in an hour. At this time however go early, because it fills up very fast. Redfish is excellent, as is the Filet and Salmon. My uncle Joe samples salmon all over the country, and he proclaimed this the best he ever had.

Comments: Trying to be upscale like Pauli's or Pho's but failing miserably. Service and food is on the level of Applebee's, Chili's, TGIFriday's et al. Food is adequate but don't support the prices or long wait (1 hour) required. Crab Cakes are nothing but fried breadcrumbs (7.99 for 2). Shrimp Caesar salad is just Romaine lettuce with 6 small shrimp added ($8.29). Prime Rib comes only with 1 side dish ($15). Service is poor--once seated (after an hour wait) we waited another 20 minutes before the server first approached our table. Then they try to charge you for bread if it doesn't come with your meal. Needless to say I won't be going back unless someone twists my arm!

Comments: Service was slow on a Tuesday night.
The oysters in my "Lafitte Linguine" had chewy edges as if they had
been left exposed to the air (they weren't overcooked) and the three slices of
garlic bread surrounding the dish were hard, thru' and thru' (read STALE!). My
husband ordered shrimp etouffe and when warned by the waitress that it was quite
spicy, changed his mind and ordered the grilled fish with garlic herb sauce.
When the food came, he was served the etouffe, after all. We've decided not to
go back since it doesn't compare to the Copeland's in New Orleans.

The Olive Garden does seafood. Not bad for a food factory, but overpriced
