The barn is open year round for meetings and parties. The commercial kitchen is equipped for catering during pumpkin season and in the off-season for those renting the meeting room or the entire barn. During pumpkin season you can get pintos and cornbread along with traditional favorites like hot-dogs and French fries. Ever tried a pumpkin slushy? You can now at Tate Farms. They've added a slush machine to the already fun foods of popcorn, cotton candy and funnel cakes.
This unique farm is a great place for a family outing, church group, or senior tour. They are open for private tours for school/day care tours M-F from 9-2 and open to the public from 2-6 each day and Saturdays 9-6.
Private school tours are $7.00 and teachers can choose from the traditional tour (hayride to field to pick pumpkin, hay maze, corn crib, animals, hands on activity, playground) or the newest tour, the "Bee Amazed" tour, which includes the new 3 acre corn maze. The tour includes the corn maze, corn crib, corn shelling, hayride to pumpkin field to pick a pumpkin and a hands on learning activity. Both the traditional tour and the Corn maze tour are 2 hours long.
General admission is $8 per person ages 2 and above. Admission includes all attractions except the gourd gun, barrel train ride, face painting and country store and food purchases.
