- Tour the facility at your own pace, stopping to take in hands-on activities and inspect more than 1,500 artifacts.
- Soar 150 feet in the air with 4 G's of force during liftoff of the Space Shot simulator
- Board a public shuttle for a simulated futuristic trip to the solar system's largest plant at the Journey to Jupiter exhibit
- Steer a spacecraft on a motion-based Mission to Mars.
- Stand under an actual-sized Space Shuttle for a closeup look. Check out the 363-foot Saturn V rocket.
- Visit the stage presentation of Outpost in Space to better understand what life will be like aboard the Space Station.
- Feel the gravitational forces of liftoff in the Centrifuge
- Watch OMNI-MAX movies shot in space in the Spacedome Theatre. Get an astronaut's view of Earth.
- Take a bus tour of the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center and see the International Space Station being assembled.

- The U. S. Space and Rocket Center just off Exit 15 at I-565.
- Open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (until 6 p.m. in summer); closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
