2001 Scarecrow Trail

The Huntsville Botanical Garden is a blaze of color this autumn with 65 scarecrows that are limited only to the imagination and creativity of Huntsville businesses and residents. A fun activity for families to embrace this fall is a walk through the Garden exploring all the different ways that a scarecrow can be made. Objects, careers and creatures not normally thought of as "scarecrow" material are on displayed throughout the grounds of the Garden. Pick a nice, sunny day and treat yourself to a not-so-scary sampling of scarecrows. I've saved my favorites until last--so stay with me as we explore the Scarecrow Trail 2002. (Note: not all scarecrows are pictured--for the full line-up, I urge you to go to the Garden and see all the scarecrows for yourself.)

This scarecrow is part typical scarecrow and part imagination.  His face and ears are quite unique!  This entry is called "Stewart" and was submitted by Buffalo Rock.
