The Luxury Pet Hotel, located at 7920-A Charlotte Drive, is the brain child of Penny Webster and Mark Cherry. It registered its first guests the middle of November, 2003. Penny & Mark have run VIP Grooming for 15 years. While visiting Knoxville, Mark saw a pet hotel and thought he could do better; so, he came back to Huntsville and designed and built the cute and colorful "hotel" for canine and feline residents in the local area.

The Hotel can handle up to ten guests a day, each with their own private and climate-controlled room, color TV, specially designed furniture, filtered water, "turn down" with gourmet cookie, and maximum playtime. Specialized feeding and medication administration is also available. You can also have your pet brushed, bathed and trimmed while you are away. The Hotel welcomes day or overnight guests.

While Huntsville residents are checking out of town for vacations and business trips or school breaks, the Hotel is its busiest. If you have a dog that barks allot and disturbs the neighbors or an older dog that can't be left alone for long, then you might want to consider making a reservation at the Luxury Pet Hotel.
