Built in 1989, this house is a modern day interpretation of the Neo-Classical style.  The main floor has a mix of stone mosaic floors and hardwood to accent the owners’ antique and contemporary furniture.  The library features cherry paneling which creates a warm welcome for visitors.  The living room has antique cast iron columns from New Orleans that support the upper floors.  The kitchen, updated in 2000, is equipped with a wine room that is sealed by an iron gate.  Guests invited to the Ritches’ home experience not only a magnificent mountaintop view of Huntsville with their beautiful gardens in the foreground, but can enjoy the latest in home entertainment technology.  The second floor media room features an oversized movie screen with a surround sound system that enables guests to view the latest movies in a comfortable home environment.  The third floor houses a gym with a cupola to give height as well as a magnificent light.
