| Regina | So many of the cemeteries in Jackson County need work. When I was home last year the Sheriff had the prisoners cleaning the Old Baptist Cemetery. It looked so good. |

I am hunting information about James David Hopper, who was bn about 1823-25 in either Ireland, South Carolina, or Alabama (depending on which census you look at) - He purchased land in Pickens county, AL in 1858 and later in Lamar county, AL He died in Lamar county in 1893. He may have married more than one time. But wife's name that I know was Sara Frances Huff, He had 9 children. Does anyone have any info about him.?? |
