Cyndi Regina - I need to come down and check out the Kirby Cemetery off of Stewart Road. The last time I was there, the loggers had just about destroyed the cemetery.
huntsvilleADM Cyndi--the people at the Scottsboro Courthouse are really friendly and helpful with genealogist........the Huntsville Library's Heritage Room has resources for the whole Southeast.......a whole floor devoted to genealogy--you should check it out while here.

Regina So many of the cemeteries in Jackson County need work. When I was home last year the Sheriff had the prisoners cleaning the Old Baptist Cemetery. It looked so good.

Scottie Elizabeth married Samuel Parmer in 1834 in BIBB and Julia Ann married in 1836 someone in Carroll, MS but I think they were sisters.

I am hunting information about James David Hopper, who was bn about 1823-25 in either Ireland, South Carolina, or Alabama (depending on which census you look at) - He purchased land in Pickens county, AL in 1858 and later in Lamar county, AL He died in Lamar county in 1893. He may have married more than one time. But wife's name that I know was Sara Frances Huff, He had 9 children. Does anyone have any info about him.??

Mary Cam Willis was born in 1883 and Died in 1913. He married Lilly Arnold. I cannot find anything
