| Granny | Mary, check out Ancestry.com and go to the black history section and to the slave narratives. It is new and is free through February. You can type in your family Surname and possibly come up with interviews with slaves belonging to the family in the late 1800's. It was taken from direct interviews with the former slaves between 1929 and 1939. Fascinating reading. |
