Stacy--that's why I don't have her--there are gaps in the Marriage records when the courthouse was burned (several times). My earliest records are for 1851.

Looking for James M.Allen a physician on the 1860 and 1870 census in Lee County - Auburn and Loachapoka. My question is what education was required in the 1800's to become a doctor and where could James have gone to medical school?
