Great Cyber! I found my Grandfather Hardy's diaries for the years 1913-1941! Lots of great information too.

He was a preacher and they traveled from Tuscaloosa & Bibb Cos to attend, but so far no James WOODDELL.

While I was in Virginia, I went to the Court House in Old Tappahannock County (now Essex County...Court House in Rappahannock) and you wouldn't believe the treasures I found. They have all the records back to the mid 1600s beautifully indexed and all organized and preserved in special books.
