<huntsvilleADM>  Hi, Mrs_D! welcome......
<Mrs_D>  Thank you!!
<MizB>  Hi Mrs_D
<huntsvilleADM>  Is this your first time here, Mrs. D?
<Granny>  Mrs_D, welcome!
<Mrs_D>  Been here once before under an alias!
<Granny>  MizB, that's great! Still plan to finish them all by Christmas???
<Mrs_D>  And I try to read the transcripts each week
<huntsvilleADM>  Good girl!
<Granny>  What surnames are you searching Mrs_D
<huntsvilleADM>  I can't send out an email to remind people we are here now--my email isn't working for some reason!
<Granny>  ADM, if they are at their computers, they will see your earlier reminder.

<huntsvilleADM>  Granny--some people just sit there reading email or surfing and forget!
<Granny>  PADGETT, MORGAN, WEBB, HORTON, SNODGRASS, NICHOLSON, McCORD in Jackson, DeKalb and Cherokee counties.
<huntsvilleADM>  DILL, DREGER, SPRAGUE, EVANS, McGILL--Madison
<Granny>  Their loss, ADM...I look forward to Monday nights and make sure that I am here! You never know when it will be your lucky night!
<huntsvilleADM>  HALL, SANDERS, EVANS, COX, LINDSEY--Jackson Co.
<huntsvilleADM>  That's true, Granny.
<huntsvilleADM>  Mrs_D, did you post your surnames?
<Mrs_D>  NO! I have used an illegal name or something so was just going to watch and read.
<Granny>  I have had some awesome luck this week with my Padgett line...but unfortunately, not the Alabama ones. I am really excited about the new information I have found!
<huntsvilleADM>  Mrs_D--what do you mean you used an illegal name?
<Mrs_D>  KERSH, KING and THOMAS in BIBB and KING in autauga
<huntsvilleADM>  The only way to find your elusive ancestors is to post every chance you get!
<Mrs_D>  Had a notice that my name was not registered????
<huntsvilleADM>  Oh--that's just the About membership.....you don't need one to post in here. Just the forums.
<huntsvilleADM>  And it's easy to register.
<huntsvilleADM>  brb.....husband just got home.
<Mrs_D>  Well....it shouted at me!!!!!
<Granny>  I keep searching for new message boards where I haven't posted before. I have had really good luck with the various message boards for queries I'd posted.
<Mrs_D>  I really prefer MizD but it too much like MizB who is already on!!
<Granny>  Mrs_D, just ignore it! You can sign in here with any name that you want. We all just use nicknames, so guess that you could say we are all illegal.
<Granny>  Hi, MartiLee...welcome!
<Mrs_D>  I didn't have any trouble the other time I did join in!
<Granny>  Mrs_D, we all welcome you to join in tonight!
<Mrs_D>  Hi MartiLee!
<MizB>  Granny so have I, so many I forget to check some of them again.
<huntsvilleADM>  I'm back.
<MartieLee>  Hi y'all
<huntsvilleADM>  Hi, MartieLee.
* Granny  MOTIONS/happy.gif I like the message boards that email you when you have a reply
<MizB>  Hi Martielee
<MartieLee>  Wow took me over 20 minutes to get in here
<MizB>  Some of mine do but I think some of the older posting don't.
<Granny>  I know, some of mine don't either, and I forget where all I posted.
<huntsvilleADM>  MartieLee--what surnames and counties are you researching?
<MartieLee>  BREWER, GALLAGHER-Lawrence to Morgan to Jefferson; CARTER-Morgan, QUALLS-Limestone, LEE, GIBSON, GAVIN-Madison to Morgan to Jefferson
<huntsvilleADM>  Sorry about that, MartieLee.....sometimes the servers are busy......do you have AOL?
<MartieLee>  yes - AOL
<huntsvilleADM>  When they get busy, then you get bumped off or just can't get in, MartieLee.
* Granny  MOTIONS/sad.gif Some nights I don't think that AOL likes us
<huntsvilleADM>  Who are your GIBSON's, MartieLee?
<MartieLee>  Parthenia Jane Gibson, married to Jackson Lee. I have never found her family.
<huntsvilleADM>  Do you know her parents? was she born in Madison Co.?
<Mrs_D>  I have a Parthenia Jane Gray in my ancestors...Isn't that an interesting name?
<huntsvilleADM>  Wonder what the origin of it is?
<Mrs_D>  That would be interesting to know.
<Granny>  That is weird that you would both have such an unusual name in your lines!
<huntsvilleADM>  Maybe it's the same lady.......one her first husband's name; the other her maiden name?
<Mrs_D>  I thought it was unusual was the reason I commented on it
<huntsvilleADM>  And esp. since the middle names are the same!
<huntsvilleADM>  And the last names both start with ""G""!
<MartieLee>  I don't really know. She and Jackson lived in Madison Co., but she's buried in Decature1904
<Mrs_D>  Think not.. my Parthenia married a Moore
<huntsvilleADM>  Do you have the parents on your Parthenia, Mrs_D?
<huntsvilleADM>  Maybe she was married more than once.
<MartieLee>  I found another Parthenia J in the census in TN while looking for another ancestor- wondered if she was related
<Mrs_D>  Oh, now wouldn't you ask that?? In my files, perhaps, but not handy and not in my memory. I believe she was from MS.
<MartieLee>  Gosh my connection is SLOW
<MartieLee>  who are you guys researching?
