I have the 1850 AL census, 1860 AL Cherokee & Choctaw Counties census, 1860 AL Walker, Washington, Wilcox, & Winston Counties census, and index for other years up to 1870. I have the vital records CD^`2019s from the FHC on disk. Could be that too Betsy. I see on Maine census where older folks have their birth place as Maine when it wasn't even a state yet, at the time they were born it was still part of Massachusetts
