<HW>

Alexander Wheeler is in the 1850,  1860,  and 1870 census. Any body have any tips on Jackson County resources,  I am in Oklahoma.

<VickyinAL>

SEEKER your bailey ever in Tuscaloosa or bibb co AL

<VickyinAL>

have SELLERS in Tuscaloosa too

<CyberLemon>

I learned about beta testing back in my win 3.1 days

<SEEKER>

My immediate are in Jefferson Co. Same for Sellers but I just started working Sellers.

<HW>

Is there a library at Scottsboro? Local Historical / Genealogy societies worth checking into?

<VickyinAL>

seeker there is a group of sellers in Tuscaloosa an group in Greene neither one will claim kin to other

<SEEKER>

Bailey's came from Tennessee to St Clair Co. actually. Looks like Sellers came from Chesterfield Co.,  SC

<VickyinAL>

ok my set of BAILEY I have came from Ireland to SC(Anderson co) to bibb co AL

<VickyinAL>

then spread to Tuscaloosa, Jefferson, Perry, pike

<SEEKER>

That is interesting. My Sellers line is maternal about three generations back. Maybe I can connect them....LOL

<VickyinAL>

maybe so

<SEEKER>

I see Bailey's in Bibb and Perry Co all the time.

<Travis>

Seeker - There is a theory around that Bailey,  Howton,  Travis,  Parsons,  and maybe some others all went to Jefferson County from Laurens County,  SC together,  then later some of them picked up again and went on to Texas.
