seacher I have a Sarah Cothrane. She was the first wife of my great grandfather John Wesley Wood. They were married in Craighead County, AR in 1890. She died in 1899.
Gail Could Cotton and Cothran be the same family at times and the census taker wrote down the wrong thing. The reason that I ask is this. My line had another member an older member who went over into Tenn. from SC. Her name was Elizabeth she had married a Holland man. His full name was Thomas Holland.

Sherry Sounds like an epidemic. The Poole I'm looking for is my g-g-gm, Sarah. Don't know her parent's names, for sure, but she married in 1848 in Clarke Co. Found the marriage record at the Clarke C. Courthouse, but no parents listed.
