brb--trying to help someone get into the chat room.

<lamby>

I have been unable to locate them in the census. Would it be because they were too far up in the mountains?

<DonaldLogan>

Lamby, Walter Johnsey is pastor of First (?) Baptist Church in Prattville, is that the same?

<Travis>

No, Donald, Prattville & Pratt City are different.

<lamby>

Donald Logan, he may be. Since this is from 1967 I doubt the pastor is still there. I may try and call sometime and see if they have any records

<Travis>

I don't know whether Pratt City still exists or not. I think my brother showed it to me the last time I was in Alabama, and there was nothing there.

<huntsvilleADM>

okay, I'm back.....

<Sallygirl>

By any chance does anyone have an older issue of the Southern Queries magazine with migration routes on the back cover...Or a library that might have the copy...I did visit the library at Phenix City but like a foolish girl that I am, didn't think that I would be interested in it until now. The magazine is no longer being published.......
