Sandee which town in Pickens are you in

<KWebb>

The land records website gave me the land records for Joseph Webb of Limestone County...and the certified copies are cheap. When my 7-year-old grandson saw the signature of the President,  he was ready to pack and go to Alabama!

Hunter,  my particular line of Padgett came from Rutherford County,  NC to SC,  to TN then to Jackson County,  AL. However,  there were related Padgett’s in other areas of Alabama. My mother was a Padgett.

<Norma11>

Mickey43,  wonder if the grandson of Timothy Walton Callaway who wrote the Callalway Baptist Preachers Book 1789-1953 (you mentioned last week) would see if James A. Bowers is mentioned in it?

<marfa>

Go through Gordo when I am in Al. Cousins in Aliceville and then Sulligent in Lamar Co.

<Nette56>

Granny my husband worked with a Rick Padgett some years ago ...he lived in the Dallas area

Mickey our Smiths,  as far as we know,  came to S Carolina early 1800's,  the daughter Elizabeth Smith married Robert G McCann,  then they came to Lincoln County TN,  where their daughter,  Mary C McCann married my ggrandfather,  Joseph F Webb.
