Local Authors Festival
Barnes & Noble in Jones Valley Mall sponsored its first Local Authors Festival on Saturday, April 12, 2003 with Greg Screws from WAAY-TV hosting the twenty-five authors. Available at the festival were the following authors: Richard Bamber, The Phoenix Egg; Ed Buckbee, Woody Bethay, Jay Foster & Mike Kelley, 50 Years of Rockets & Spacecraft in the Rocket City; Elgin Carver, History of the Fourteenth Regiment Alabama Volunteers; Lynne Caver, Earth Swallows Man; Kay Cornelius, Pennsylvania; Ria Dimitra, The Blood Waltz; Ron Dykes, Back When; John Graham, The Mountains Laugh Because He Walked Upon Them; Ernest Guthery, Life As I Saw It; Mark Inglis, Night and Day in Alabama; Reese Danley-Kilgo, Sing a Salamander Song; Mike Lingenfelter, The Angel by My Side; Michael Lupo, Maria's Miracle; Chistel L.
