The U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville was a logical choice for residents and visitors to gather to pay tribute to the Space Shuttle Columbia's seven astronauts who died February 1, 2003. In Huntsville, we were fortunate to have a physical place we could go to mourn the loss as our nation gathered around the country to remember these brave heroes.
