"First Monday" in Scottsboro
The rainy weather on Labor Day
didn't discourage some shoppers
from checking out "First Monday" in Scottsboro.
First Monday started in the late 1800's
when farmers came into town to hear
court cases and trade animals and goods.
This "Let it Snow" sign probably won't mean
it's a White Christmas in Alabama this year.

First Monday is held around the Scottsboro Court House.
