Flower "Beds" at Huntsville Botanical Garden
The Huntsville/Madison County Botanical Garden has a new feature each spring for the Festival of Flowers. Last year it was treehouses...this year, it's flower "beds." Here's an early peek at this year's beds scattered throughout the Garden. Remember, as the season goes on, more and more flowers and scrubs are blooming at the Garden. I took these photos before the "Official" start date--so you might want to visit the Garden on Bob Wallace Avenue for yourself to see the finished products.
This bed is titled "Monkeying Around" and is located just outside the Butterfly House and planted in purple pansies and parsley. This one wasn't finished--they were going to add more monkeys--I think there will be five when it's finished.
