Adopting a Furry Friend
The Greater Huntsville Humane Society on Johnson Road was the scene in May for a lot of folks looking for a little love in the form of a furry, four-legged friend. It was the annual Pet Adoptathon--a time when the organization tries to match pets and owners for a lifelong friendship.
There were over 40 cats available for loving homes. Volunteers gathered to help out and speed the adoption process along.
