Once inside the gates, attendees saw patriotism throughout the grounds.  Flag waved from many booths; concert goers wore their red/white/blue apparel.  Children were given a chance to color a picture and write a message to the firefighters in New York.  One radio stations encouraged people to sign a quilt square that was to be sewed into a quilt and sent to New York.

Mayor Loretta Spencer was spotted at the Herman's Hermits concert sporting a USA sweatshirt.
