Director Todd Goode and Assistant Director Lydia Marsh have taken the talents of Grissom High School and made them shine onstage.  Musical Director Elizabeth Stephenson and Assistant Musical Director Mark Smith help add professionalism to the production with the Grissom High School Orchestra's assistance.

Ashley Felder as Milly (the first to marry a Pontipee brother) does an outstanding job of turning her brothers-in-law around and making suitable gentlemen of them and, in my opinion, steals the show.  Curt Johnson as the eldest brother has the tough job of setting the pace for the show.  Both turn in a great performance.

Other cast members include The Pontipee Brothers:  Benjamin....Kalin Miller; Caleb...Chuck Janus; Daniel....Thomas Knowles;  Ephraim....William Parks; Frank....Michael Foster; and Gideon....Robby Stone.

The Brides:  Drocas......Caroline Munger; Ruth....Jennifer Trueblood; Liza...Lindsay Fine; Martha....Alexis Reinhart; Sarah....Lauren Windeler; and Alice....Jenna Summers.

The Suitors:  John Yoon, Geoffrey Tyson, Julian Rex Buckner, Travis Bender, Jonathan Curtis and Jere Hunt.

Townspeople and chorus include:  Katherine Tyler, Sean Wright, Kristan Howell, Michael Lombardo, Jason Vawter, Will Abercrombie, Michael Arnold, Janani Arun, Jim Byham, Alex Conn, Adam Hajari, Erin Haynas, Amanda Leggett, Laura Mason, Megan McMahon, Rebecca McMahon, Jason Meyers, Ariane Mitchell, Allison Moy, Matt Ortega, JaneMarie Overbeek, Sarah Marie Parks, Stewart Parks, Catherine Peterson, Amber Powelson, Cassie Robinson, John Robinson, Stuart Tankesley, and Brett Warnke.

As this play progresses, it seems the songs and dances get faster and more complicated.  My favorite numbers were  "Wonderful, Wonderful Day" and "Wedding Day."  I hope the cast had as much fun performing as the audience does viewing this energetic production.  This is a must for a good, light-hearted family outing.  Don't miss it from February 7-10, 2002 at Grissom High School.
