The service was okay the
Wednesday night we went. We did the tapas dining thing with the Pris Fix dinner
for two. Our waitress was very friendly and full of suggestions.
The quality of the food did not match its price. It was apparent that the crab
in the crab cakes and the tilapia were not fresh. Perhaps one should not expect
fresh seafood inland but the seafood here was not remotely fresh. Our salads
were also not of good quality. The lettuce seemed to have been left over from
lunch and was a little dry.
The restaurant was also somewhat dirty; the floor definitely needed mopping.
My total experience at Chef's Table was disappointing. The food was expensive
but not very tasty, and the floor was dirty. The staff were friendly, however,
so if you don't mind how the food tastes you might try this restaurant.
