I’ve eaten at Pauli’s Chophouse twice now and it is excellent. It’s very elegant, quite and the food and service is wonderful. I’ve had the filet twice and both times it was perfect. The last time we had the shrimp cocktail, steaks and crème brulee for dessert. Everything, including the salads and bread, was outstanding.

We made reservations the night before and it was a good thing. By the time we left at 8:00 it was packed. So reservations are definitely recommended, even during the week. We were even able to request a particular table.

I would give this restaurant 10 thumbs just for the fact that they switched out the white napkin for a black napkin for everyone in our party wearing dark clothes. I’ve been to many restaurants and this is the first time I’ve seen this. Usually you leave a restaurant with white lint all over your clothes.

Pauli’s Chophouse is expensive, but definitely worth the price. We won’t be able to eat there every week, but it will be the first place we think of for special occasions.
