As she tried to identify the pieces for herself and others, she realized that there was no book on Noritake with an easy way to identify the treasures.   Robin set out to solve this problem and a whole new project presented itself for her.

Each book had to be searched page by page to find the pattern that one was looking for.  Robin finally developed her own system and wrote a book about it:  Noritake Dinnerware:  Identification Made Easy.
