"The Nutcracker: The Next Generation"

This performance is a mixture of classical favorites with a contemporary twist,
featuring the Sugar Plum Fairy, tapping soldiers, jazzy mice, cutting-edge

This program is a holiday blending of skating and music with the voices of the
Huntsville Community Chorus filling the rink with the joyful sounds of the
season.

"Christmas Cantata" -- First

Annual Christmas Cantata will feature the church Chancel Choir, Soloists,
Organist Frank Contreras, and an Orchestra at both services, 8:30 a.m. and 11:00
a.m. The repertoire will range from the timeless music of J.S. Bach to
more contemporary favorites. Everyone welcome.

"Messiah" Sing-A-Long -- Weatherly Heights Baptist Church

7:30 p.m. No admission charged.
Singers are invited to join the chorus and sing-a-long with the orchestra, organ
and harpsichord playing beloved Christmas music. Hear some of the city's
finest soloists sing the exciting arias. Bring your own score or purchase
one at the door. Register to be the one chosen to conduct the
"Hallelujah Chorus" at the conclusion of the event.

The Huntsville Feminist Chorus will present its annual Winter Solstice Concert
with songs, poems, and prayers from a diversity of cultures and ethnic

Kwanzaa-Harambee Umoja Ceremony

This ceremony begins the Kwanzaa celebration which is a seven day festival from
December 26-January 1 in observance of the Seven Principles known as the Nguzo
Saba. The first day represents the Principle of Unity.
