Some of the many activities that are special for The Host of Christmas Past in Fayetteville, Tennessee include an Elves Workshop, storytelling, puppet shows, magicians, trolley rides, carriage rides, classic car show, candlelight walking tour, cemetery reenactment, special evening concerts, and, of course, Santa Claus. This Civil War soldiers were waiting for their time to show their skills on the lawn of the courthouse.

This three-day event includes a Home Tour on Sunday and holiday seminars on Saturday.

The Cancer Society hosts an elegant High Tea in the First Presbyterian Church on Saturday. I always love to go to a tea, and this one was a special experience, with lovely Christmas tunes played on the piano with the lights lowered and candles flickering on the tables.

One unique attraction was the Fire Departments rides for the brave of heart who enjoyed a high experience in the air.

One the streets, you can find face painting and other entertainment for the children. This lady and her baby joined in the spirit of an Old-Fashioned Christmas along with other Fayetteville residents.
