After reading the reviews here, I was excited about trying the Furniture
Factory. But after my experience last night, I will not be going back. There are
plenty of places in Huntsville where you can get good food and good service. The
food at the Furniture Factory was only average, and the service was terrible.
There were three tables occupied and three waitresses working, but you would
have thought our waitress was waiting on ten tables by herself for as much as we
saw her. We ordered cokes first and received them immediately, but once those
were gone we did not get refills until we were done eating. My melting ice
refilled my cup faster than my waitress. I ordered the Steak sandwich and my
wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, both of which were okay. After we had
each eaten half of our sandwiches, our appetizer, the quesadillas, finally
arrived. Personally, I prefer an appetizer BEFORE I've eaten the meal. And I
question the cleanliness, as a man !
walked in and out of the kitchen with a cigarette in his mouth or hand. Apparently a lot of other people think the same thing I do, because the place was virtually empty, with only three tables occupied on a Friday night.
