Huntsville Museum of Art, 300 Church Street, 256-4350, will feature "Voices Rising: Alabama Women at the Millennium," an exhibition showcasing the work of 12 emerging and established contemporary artists from Alabama. Also displayed will be the work of international acclaimed Pop artist, Andy Warhol. "Works by Warhol from the Cochran Collection" features sampling of Warhol's prints which date from 1974 through his last series created in 1986, just before his death in 1987.

Artistic Images, 2115 Whitesburg Drive, 256-534-368, has Helen Vaughn, Huntsville's local award winning artist, as the featured artist. On exhibit will be work that features the new series of oil paintings, "Pages from an Album." These new works include images and narrative lines that evoke pages from a family album.

Primitive Arts, 3010 University Drive, 256-536-0691, has five featured Southern artists: Matte, Stan Tankersley, Mose Tolliver, Bernice Sims, and Woodie Long. Matte will be previewing his Fall Collection of original hand painted ladies scarves and Stan Tankersley will be making his first Huntsville Gallery Showing.

Don't miss the opportunity to see what Art is Huntsville is all about on Friday, July 20th from 5-9:00 p.m. The doors are opened; it's time to walk into another world.
