I have been to Sister Gooch's 3 times since my son had moved to Huntsville( and even brought my family there to eat) and found it one of the best restaurants I have been to. I am a chef and have been in the business most of my adult life. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is great. I was never confused about what to do when I entered the place and do not feel it is over rated. They have a wonderful place and a great addition to Huntsville's' many fine restaurants. I will miss it since my son is leaving the area. I would say to anyone if ever in the area please stop and have yourself a special lunch or dinner to remember. You will be glad you did.

The last time I was there the service was a bit poor but the owner recognized it and picked up everyone's bill. Everyone has a bad night and they did what they should of done, and I would go back again if ever in the area.
