While visiting Huntsville, we made the mistake of choosing the
Hungry Fisherman for dinner with my daughter's family including two children (1
1/2 & 6 weeks ). We placed our order at 7pm., our salads and drinks came
immediately, then we never saw our waitress again. By 8pm. the children
were tired and hungry, the baby was past her feeding time and the 1 1/2 year old
had eaten all the crackers that he could. I started looking for someone
and was told that the order was not entered... the waitress forgot.
We received our food about 8:10, but by now the babies were beyond tired.
Plus, the food was quickly prepared, some warm some cold, most left uneaten.
The manager never came out to the dining room. When I found him, behind
the bar, and told him that this had been a bad dining experience, he did comp
the meal, but never apologized for the poor service. The real kick came
when he said he was not the manager, but the owner.
This will not be a future stop in Huntsville.
