Me and my friends go about every other weekend. One of these people is the Ross listed above. Joy Luck is a good restaurant. There are finer restaurants out there, and there are definitely cheaper (which isn't saying much), but there is few that beat's the homey and secure atmosphere of Joy Luck. There is no restaurant staff I've encountered that's more courteous and friendly. Every time we walk in (usually 4-6 of us) they say things like "Hello My Friends!" or when you're done eating, you can sit for an hour or so talking and having a good time, not being rushed out and pressured to order more like most restaurants. The buffet has a fair selection, although I have seen better. The food they do have though is prepared with quite obvious skill involved.  Nothing beats those Yankee Biscuits or those nicely marinated Bee Bee Cuuue Ribs ;).

All and all, the Food is Good but not Great, the Selection is Fair But not Great, and the Staff is EXCELLENT!!!. I would go back there many times again and I have already gone about 15 times since my first discovering this treasure in the summer of 2001. Happy Joy Lucking!
