Allen Woodell started collecting lunch boxes in 1983 and now owns more than 2,000 boxes, making his collection one of the largest in the country.  Five of Woodall's lunch boxes are feature in the Lunch Box Memories exhibition.

These lunch boxes are of particular interest to Huntsville residence.  Many boxes were created to celebrate the important events in the Space program.  Other boxes were created just for the fun of them.  The Huntsville Museum of Art's gift shop is selling a variety of lunch boxes to the public after they view the exhibit.  Don't miss out on this wonderful presentation going on through June 15th.
