On Saturday, September 21, 2002, The Burritt Museum Guild will hold their first Monte Sano Mountain Homes Tour.  Six homes and one garden are featured  on the tour.  For tickets, call 256-536-2882.

Dr. Lou and Joanne Horn's house is located near the site of the Hotel Monte Sano (the old chimney is all that remains).  This striking stone and glass home features a dramatic deck that is cantilevered over the bluff.  Built by a businessman with entertaining international clients in mind, the spacious rooms throughout the house have a magnificent view of the city.

The high tech kitchen is state of the art and the luxurious master bath contains a huge Jacuzzi with a mountain view.  The Horns have furnished the house with beautiful contemporary artwork and a mixture of contemporary and traditional furniture.
