If you can grow an African Violet, the members of the Heart of Dixie Orchid Society say you can grow orchids.  Some say that orchids are actually easier to grow!

This Orchid Show is the largest in the Southeast with entries from many orchid societies:  Orchid Society of East Tennessee, the Alabama Orchid Society, South Metro Orchid Society, Smokey Mountain Orchid Society, Tennessee Valley Orchid Society, Northeast Alabama Orchid Society, Heart of Dixie Orchid Society, and the Memphis Orchid Society.

If you want to grow orchids, you must have the patience of a saint because it may be years before you see them bloom.
