2002 Panoply Arts Festival 

Talent Application

 

The Arts Council, Inc. is accepting applications from persons interested in performing on the Valley Jubilee stage at Panoply 2002. Applications will be accepted until December 14, 2001. The dates of Panoply are April 26-28, 2002

There is no application fee, but please note the performers must be at least 10 years old, and must submit a video of a performance of comparable quality to that which will be presented at Panoply 2002. A jury of local professionals in the arts will make final selections for performances on the Valley Jubilee stage at Panoply 2002. All performers accepted will be announced in March 2002.

The jury panel will be: Anne Clem, actress, director, costumer, singer, and musician. She has worked with Huntsville Little Theatre and Huntsville Community Chorus Association. Lee Marshall is an accomplished singer and anchor at WAFF-TV Channel 48. Andrew Willmon is an actor, director and has been part of over 100 local and regional productions. He is currently Executive Director of Broadway Theatre League. Ken Watters is a jazz musician and leader of the Ken Watters Group.  He has also performed with Harry Connick, Jr., Ramsey Lewis, and the Fifth Dimension to name a few.  Tom McClellan is a teacher, director, and is currently owner/artistic director of the McClellan Institute in Huntsville. For 10 years he was the Managing Director of the Boston Playwright Theatre.
