Despite the rain, over 800 people attended the event with their pets.  The dogs (and cats) came in all sizes and shapes, as did the pet owners!

The streets of Huntsville were closed off and the police was on-hand to help the four-legged creatures take a stroll around the historic district of Huntsville.

Some of the pets for the Greater Huntsville Humane Society's "Paws in the Park" walk were dressed for the weather and some made their own fashion statement.
