Cutest Pet Contest #1
Picture of the Week

This is Lord Horatio Nelson, a rat terrier mix, who was adopted from the Greater Huntsville Humane Society. Nelson was abandoned on the streets of Huntsville as a 4 pound, 8 week old puppy. This is why he has such a heroic name - he earned it by surviving.

Nelson is now a thoroughly spoiled little guy who loves to go to school. He has been to Puppy class, Kind Hearts Behavior Center's Level 1 class, NASDA's subnovice class and was a 2004 VID (very important dog) at the Mutt Strutt Dog Ball. Nelson has come a long way from wandering the streets and is destined to go even further as he eagerly awaits his upcoming agility class.
