This dog is a registered Shetland Sheepdog that is almost 4 years old. Her owner says, "Her name is Shelby and she is just a little sweetheart. She is the smartest dog that I have ever owned. Her heart is tender and she can get her feelings hurt really easy. She loves kids but is very shy around other dogs. As soon as she is around another dog for a little bit of time the shyness fades and she is ready to play. She loves to play ball, perform tricks, and she will do anything if she thinks it pleases us. She loves to jump in my lap to lay her head on my shoulder to give you a hug. Her groomers get a kick out of the way she will smile when she is getting groomed. She likes lots of attention.

Shelby
In this picture, I had bought a toddler Halloween costume at a local department store just to see if she would wear it. She danced around and she could not wait to put it on for everyone to see her. She went outside to sit on the porch to wait on the trick or treaters in our neighborhood. They kids all adored her and they all made a big deal out of her costume. As a matter of fact, we think she would have loved to have escorted all the kids around the neighborhood. A little girl in our neighborhood thought it was funny that her name and our dog's name was the same."
