General Bartley M. Lowe fought in the Indian Wars and was president of the Branch Bank of Huntsville from 1839-1844. His home, The Grove, was one of the grand homes of Huntsville before it was destroyed. During the Civil War, he served with the 4th Alabama Regiment and served on the staffs of Generals Clanton and Withers. He was captured during the Battle of Franklin, Tennessee. General Lowe and his wife Sophie are characterized by Allen & Anne-Marie Lacy.

The 8th Governor of Alabama (1835-1837) was Clement Comer Clay (1789-1866) shown here as Andy Watson. He was also a lawyer, chairman of the drafting committee of the first State Consitutional Convention, chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, U. S. Congressman, and senator from 1839-1841.

Virginia Clementine Clay (presented here by Amy Patel) lived from 1862-1911. She was Editor of the Huntsville Democrat from 1884 to 1911. Virginia was prominent in the Women's Suffrage Movement.

Mary Lewis Clay (1825-1898) was the wife of John Withers Clay, Editor of the Huntsville Democrat, and daughter-in-law of Gov. Clement Comer Clay. Nancy Rohr portrays Mary Clay.

Colonel Egbert J. Jones (1820-1861) was a lawyer and a Colonel of the 4th Alabama Infantry. He died in 1861 from wounds received at the First Battle of Tennessee. Pictured here is Buddy Moon as Col. Jones and Stacy Lynn as Mary Jones.
