Rounding out the cast is relatively-new newcomer to the Huntsville theatre scene, Terri King as Elizabeth Toybrook.  Her quirky character and gaud-awful accent throw complications into an already funny play as the simple-minded girlfriend of Ralph Shingle.  Terri seems made for this part.  Her sexy costumes add to her character's personality; after all, she spends most of her time as an unemployed, wannabe actress shopping.

This is a great comedy with many tricky twists and turns along the way.  There's some bad language in parts, but over all this is a great play for adults to see.  If you haven't been to the charming Renaissance Theatre before, make plans to see this production, running through May 17, 2003.

Robert Riddle Baker's "TASMANIAN BANQUET" plays May 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17 at 8 PM with Mother's Day Dinner Theater on Saturday, May 10 and Mother's Day Brunch Matinee, May 11 at 1:00 PM.  For tickets, call 256-536-3434 or 256-536-3117 or email Bob@RenaissanceTheatre.net.
